WHO ARE WE?
Sangar Rum is a hand-crafted, organic rum inspired by the traditional Liberian ‘Cane-juice’, cultivated from over 100 years of production in Nimba County, Liberia using freshly pressed sugarcane juice with no additives or preservatives. The brand began as an economic development project that emphasizes growth through trade based solutions to economic needs. Sugarcane is purchased from local small holder farmers, and a percentage of the proceeds from every bottle sold goes toward impact projects and building lives in Nimba County Liberia.
In concert with Global SouthxSouth Consulting, we intend to increase our supplier base of sugarcane farmers and to create jobs within the value chain as we increase production and enter more global markets.
